Cocktails | Basil Mojito

We had these at LB Steak, they were so refreshing and good. We asked the bartender how to make them, here it is.
Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients
10 basil leaves, chiffonade
1 1/2 ounces simple syrup
1 1/2 ounces fresh lime juice
2 ounces Bacardi Silver or other premium light rum
splash of club soda
Method
Put basil leaves, syrup, lime juice, and rum in a cocktail shaker. Muddle. Fill 12 ounce highball glass with crushed ice. Pour mixture over ice, top with a splash of club soda. It's nice if you have a straw to drink this with.
