Veggies | Kale Chips
Revised on October 20, 2011
I get lots of kale in my farm basket during the winter months. This is a quick and tasty way to prepare it. We love it!
Yield: as much as you want
Ingredients
kale leaves, stems removed
extra-virgin olive oil
kosher sea salt, to taste
freshly ground pepper, to taste
Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut kale into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Put kale on parchment lined baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and toss until well coated. Spread kale out into a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until crispy and slightly dark on the edges. Note: time varies depending on your oven and kale, keep an eye on it while cooking.
