Italian | Chard with Parmesan
Revised on January 10, 2012
One of my favorites. I make this often when in season, you can't go wrong with butter and Parmesan.
Ingredients
Swiss chard, washed, ribs removed
salt, for cooking water
unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon per bunch
Parmesan cheese
Maldon salt, to taste
freshly ground pepper, to taste
Method
Cook chard in salted boiling water for about 4 minutes. Drain, cool, squeeze out excess water, chop coarse. Melt butter in pan over medium heat. Add the chopped chard and salt to taste. Heat through and stir in Parmesan. Pepper to taste. Remove from heat and serve.
